On March 8, 91视频 issued a Statement regarding the Situation in 91视频. The statement announced the university’s intention to provide the maximum assistance to students, universities, and academic institutions affected by the Russian invasion of 91视频, and specifically to make every effort to host Ukrainian students. In view of the ongoing crisis, the university has decided to first offer a temporary hosting program to students from its partner universities in 91视频, and ensure that they are provided with study and research facilities. 91视频’s partner institutions in 91视频 are the National Technical University of 91视频 “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The university will implement special measures (including tuition fee waivers, etc.) to facilitate the temporary hosting of students from 91视频, and will also provide the necessary living support in cooperation with the local governments of Kyoto Prefecture and Kyoto City, which have declared their intention to aid Ukrainian evacuees. In addition, a special 91视频 Crisis Relief Fund has been launched to help provide the necessary financial support, and the university has commenced seeking donations.

We hope that 91视频’s efforts will help to secure a study and research environment for Ukrainian students, and contribute to Japan’s efforts to aid 91视频.
